Bio

Ro J Goodwin is a multi-disciplinary creator whose work spans writing, illustration, music, screenwriting, filmmaking, and imaginative world-building. Driven by a lifelong fascination with storytelling in all its forms, Ro brings a distinctive blend of humour, heart, and creative daring to every project—from adult colouring books and children’s adventures to philosophical non-fiction and expansive transmedia universes.

A prolific author and artist, Ro is known for crafting experiences rather than simply producing books. His colouring books fuse playful characters with deeper themes of sovereignty, imagination, resilience, and joy. His fiction worlds—such as the musical adventures of The Accidental Trio of dogs in Voices of the Heart (from Music Dogs) and the whimsical journeys of ‘White’ in the forthcoming Santa’s Holiday family colouring book—carry Ro’s signature style: warm, witty, and quietly profound. Across genres, Ro’s work consistently invites readers to rediscover creativity as a natural force for personal transformation and collective uplift.

Ro’s artistic life is also a shared creative life. His wife, Marie Goodwin, a gifted writer in her own right, brings her own magic to the page through cosy winter stories and compassionate self-help books for children. Her stories offer comfort, warmth, and emotional clarity, helping young readers understand big feelings with gentleness and ease. Together, Ro and Marie form a deeply aligned creative partnership—two storytellers with complementary voices, united by a common vision of kindness, imagination, and human connection.

As co-builders of a growing creative ecosystem, they are currently developing an interconnected body of books, characters, courses, colouring experiences, and multimedia projects. Their shared mission is simple: to spark wonder, encourage emotional wellbeing, and remind people of all ages that creativity is both a refuge and a revolution.

Ro and Marie continue to explore new frontiers of art and storytelling, always creating worlds where people feel seen, inspired, and invited to dream bigger.
